TACO CASSEROLE 
1 can (16 oz.) stewed tomatoes, chopped up
1 tsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 pkg. corn chips
American cheese slices or shredded cheese
2 c. shredded lettuce

Stir together tomatoes, sugar, oregano, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, salt and pepper. Add green pepper and onion. Warm slightly to use as taco sauce. Brown beef; drain and add garlic salt. Spoon hot meat over chips. Top with cheese to cover (double cheese is better).

Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes until heated through. Sprinkle with lettuce and spoon on taco sauce. Serve immediately.
