BUTTERSCOTCH PIE 
1 lb. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. cream or evaporated milk
1 qt. milk
3/4 c. flour
6 egg yolks
2 tsp. vanilla
2 (9-inch) pie shells, baked

Cook the brown sugar, butter and evaporated milk until thick and brown. Mix the quart of milk, flour and egg yolks and add to the sugar mixture. Cook until thickened. Add vanilla. Cool and pour into baked pie shells.
