MERINGUE CRACKERS 
3 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
6 tbsp. sugar
20 to 25 Ritz crackers
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Combine first 4 ingredients, beating to stiff meringue. Mound meringue on crackers; sprinkle with nuts. Place crackers on cookie sheet. Broil until meringue is brown. Serve hot.
