BANANA PUDDING II 
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
3 eggs, separated
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
Vanilla wafers
Bananas
3 tsp. sugar

Mix all ingredients except for egg whites, salt and sugar. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thickened. Layer vanilla wafers, bananas, and filling in a casserole dish. Continue layers until all of the filling is used up. Beat egg whites with a light pinch of salt and 3 tablespoons sugar. When fluffy, pour over pudding. Brown meringue in oven.
