SHOO-FLY CUPCAKES 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. dark brown or light brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. hot water
1 c. brown sugar

Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Set aside 1 cup of dry mixture. Pour liquid into dry mixture. Put into cupcake tin. Sprinkle extra dry ingredients on top of cakes and bake.
