14 oz. pkg. Kraft caramels 2/3 c. evaporated milk 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix 3/4 c. butter, melted 1 c. chopped nuts 1 c. chocolate chips Combine caramels and 1/3 cup milk, stir until melted; remove from heat. Combine cake mix, butter, 1/3 cup milk and nuts. Press half into a 9x13 inch greased and floured pan. Bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle chips over crust, then pour caramel and milk mixture over. Top with remaining cake mixture. Bake 15-18 minutes more. Cool, then refrigerate until set. |
