BUTTERMILK WAFFLES 
4 eggs
2 tbsp. sugar
2 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. oil
Pinch of cream of tartar

Separate the eggs. Beat the yolks and then stir with buttermilk and oil. Sift dry ingredients and mix with egg mixture. Beat whites with cream of tartar and fold in the batter. Cook on hot waffle iron.
