ARIZONA'S FINE CHILI 
1 lb. coarse ground beef
2 c. chopped onion
1 (6 oz.) can tomato puree or soup
1 lb. dry pinto beans, soaked overnight
3 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. cumin

Saute ground beef and drain off excess fat. Add chopped onion, tomatoes, puree or soup and beans. Add chili powder and cumin to mixture. Bring to a boil. Turn down heat and cook slowly until onions and beans are tender. Adding water as necessary to desired consistency. Salt to taste. May use crock pot.
