ARIZONA'S FINE CHILI 
1 lb. ground beef
2 c. onion, chopped
1 (6 oz.) can tomato puree
1 lb. dry pinto beans (soaked overnight)
3 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. cumin
Salt to taste

Saute ground beef and drain off excess fat. Add onion, tomato puree and pinto beans. Mix chili powder and cumin; add to mixture. Bring to a boil, turn down heat and cook slowly until onions and beans are tender, adding water to desired consistency. Add salt.
