1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour

Combine sugar, butter, and peanut butter. Beat egg and vanilla into fluffy light peaks then stir into flour gradually then add to peanut butter mixture. Form 1 inch balls and place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Flatten with floured fork. Bake at 400 degrees for 6 to 7 minutes or until edges lightly brown. Yields: 4 to 5 dozen.
