ENERGY BARS 
1 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
2 c. chunky peanut butter
2 tbsp. butter
5 c. crisp rice cereal
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips

In 3 quart saucepan combine sugar and syrup. Cook and stir over medium heat for 5 minutes to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat; add peanut butter and butter. Stir in cereal. Spread mixture in 9 x 13 inch pan or container. Set aside. In heavy saucepan melt chips together over low heat. Spread melted mixture over bars. Cool for 10 minutes. Cover and chill for 5 minutes in freezer or until topping is firm. Makes 36 bars.
