WHOLE - WHEAT BREAD 
1 c. whole wheat
2 c. plain white flour
1 tsp. salt
2 1/4 oz. fast-rising dry yeast
1/2 c. sugar

Mix well. Stir together 1 cup very warm milk. Add more milk as can to 2 cups milk. 1 stick butter

Add flour and other dry ingredients. Knead. Place in oil pan. Leave in warm place for 1 hour. Grease two loaf pans. Bake bread uncovered until well brown, 25 to 30 minutes.
