GRANDMA'S PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE | |
Sugar Hershey's dark cocoa Milk Butter Vanilla Salt Pean ut butter Pour 2 heaping coffee cups sugar into medium size iron frying pan. Add 4 tablespoons Hershey's dark cocoa and a dash of salt. Mix thoroughly. Stir in 1 cup milk. Put it on the stove and bring to a slow boil. Cook until mixture will run off spoon in a fine string like smooth syrup. Remove from heat. Add 1/2 stick butter, a dash of vanilla, and a couple good gobs of peanut butter. Beat until mixture starts to stiffen and pour into greased pie plate (use butter). Put into cool spot to harden. Cut into squares and serve. |
