FROZEN STRAWBERRY JAM 
2 c. mashed strawberries
4 c. sugar
1 box Sure-Jell
3/4 c. water

Stir sugar thoroughly to room temperature. Let fruit stand 10 minutes so sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally.

In the meanwhile, wash and scald jars and lids. Mix water and Sure-Jell in small saucepan. Bring to a boil and continue boiling hard 1 minute, stirring constantly. At once, stir into fruit. Continue stirring 3 minutes. Immediately ladle in containers, leaving 1/2-inch space at top. Cover at once. Let stand at room temperature 24 hours before freezing.
