ORANGE ALASKA 
4 to 6 fresh oranges
1 c. orange sherbet
1 c. orange yogurt (can be frozen)
1/4 c. fresh orange juice
1/4 c. orange liqueur
1 tsp. grated orange rind

Scoop pulp out of oranges, reserving juice and being careful not to damage orange shells. Combine above ingredients and spoon into orange shells. Place in freezer.

MERINGUE:

2 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
3 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Beat above until stiff and glossy. Spread on top of each orange shell bringing meringue well down over edge. Place in freezer. FREEZE WELL. Preheat broiler. Slide oranges under broiler until meringue turns brown. (Brown for 3 minutes maximum or you will have orange soup!)
