PUMPKIN BREAD | |
2-1/4 c. sugar 3/4 c. salad oil 3 eggs 1-1/2 c. pumpkin 2-3/4 c. flour 1-1/8 tsp. salt 1-1/8 tsp. cinnamon 1-1/8 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. cold water 3/4 c. nuts Mix together sugar, oil, eggs and pumpkin. Sift together dry ingredients. Alternately add dry ingredients with water to first mixture. Add nuts and pour into three greased 1-pound load pans or three 1-pound coffee cans (flour the pans). Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes or until done. serve buttered and warmed in oven. |
