HAMBURGER - POTATO CASSEROLE 
1 lb. hamburger
1 med. onion
2 sm. cans tomato sauce
4 med. potatoes
Oil for frying
Chives (optional)

Cook hamburger and onions; drain. Add tomato sauce; simmer on low heat. Slice potatoes thin and fry in oil. Place a layer of potatoes on bottom of casserole dish, then add layer of hamburger on potatoes. Continue to layer ending with potatoes on top layer. Place in oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.
