HOLIDAY BUTTER CAKE | |
1 box Duncan Hines butter cake mix 1 box French vanilla instant pudding 4 eggs 1 c. milk 1/2 c. oil 1 jigger whiskey 1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans) 1. Blend all ingredients except nuts and beat for 5 minutes. 2. Add nuts; mix thoroughly. 3. Pour mixture into greased and floured tube pan. 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. GLAZE: 1/4 lb. butter 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. whiskey 1. Melt butter. 2. Add sugar gradually. 3. Add whiskey. Heat but do not boil. |
