ANGEL FLAKE BISCUITS 
5 c. flour
3/4 c. shortening
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. sugar
1 pkg. dry yeast (or 1 cake)
1/2 c. warm water
2 c. buttermilk

Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening. Add buttermilk and yeast that is dissolved in warm water. Mix with spoon until flour is all mixed. Cover bowl and put into refrigerator until ready to use or you can cut and use biscuits at once. Bake at 350 or 400 degrees. Dough will keep several weeks if kept refrigerated.
