GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
6 potatoes
3 stalks celery, chopped fine
1 onion, chopped fine
4 eggs, chopped coarse

Cook potatoes and cut up in small pieces. Mix with eggs, onions, celery.

DRESSING:

About 1/2 c. vinegar
3 tbsp. sugar
Salt and pepper to taste

Add water to take taste of tartness down, at least 3/4 cup water. Stir in fried crisp finely cut bacon add to liquid. Mix all together. Serve hot or cold.
