TAFFY APPLE SALAD 
4 c. peeler or unpeeled apples
8 oz. crushed pineapple, drained but save juice
2 c. salted peanuts
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
1 egg
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip

Mix pineapple juice, flour, sugar, and cider vinegar. Beat egg and add. Blend and cook over medium heat until thick. Cool. In a large bowl mix apples, pineapple and peanuts. Pour cooked mixture over. Add Cool Whip.

Must use cider vinegar for taffy taste.
