CREAM 'N BEEF CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can (2 c.) tomato sauce
1 tsp. garlic salt or to taste
Pepper to taste
1 (5 oz.) pkg. egg noodles, cooked & drained
1 c. sour cream
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
6 green onions, chopped with tops
1 c. American cheese, grated

Cook ground beef, sugar, salt and garlic salt. Add tomatoes, cut up and tomato sauce. Cook over low heat 5 to 10 minutes. Combine egg noodles with sour cream and softened cream cheese and onion. In greased 3 quart casserole, arrange meat mixture, noodles and meat topped with grated American cheese. Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes.
