STEAMED CABBAGE 
4 c. cabbage
2 lg. green peppers
2 lg. onions
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
6 tbsp. bacon fat
1/8 c. water
3 tbsp. sugar

Clean cabbage, green peppers and onions. Chop cabbage, green peppers and onions into medium or fine pieces. Place in pot with water. Add salt, pepper and bacon fat. Add other ingredients; mix well. Cook in a tightly covered pot at medium heat for 15 minutes. Stir frequently to keep from sticking.
