DILL PICKLES - HOT!!! 
3 or 4 green peppers (hot)
1 or 2 red peppers (hot)

Use either of the above, but not both. 3 qts. water 1 qt. vinegar (apple cider vinegar) 1 c. salt (bulk salt, not iodized) 2 or 3 garlic buttons Pinch of alum
