VEGETABLE CASSEROLE 
1 sm. can English peas, drained
1 sm. can asparagus tips, drained
1 c. cream of mushroom soup or (celery or chicken)
1 c. cheese crackers, crushed
2 tbsp. butter
Salt & pepper to taste

Mix peas, asparagus and soup. Stir in salt and pepper. Pour into buttered casserole dish. Sprinkle cracker crumbs on top; dot with butter. Bake in moderate oven 30-35 minutes.

You may use strips of cheese instead of cracker crumbs.
