UGLY DUMPLINGS | |
Medium peach or pear or 1 sm. apple 1 pkg. 10 refrigerator biscuits 2 tbsp. sugar 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon 2 tbsp. butter 1 tbsp. melted butter Peel and chop fruit. Separate biscuits on lightly floured surface. Pat or roll biscuits into a 4 inch circle. Place about 1 tablespoon of chopped fruit on each biscuit. Stir together sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over fruit. Dot each with some of the 2 tablespoon butter. Then shape into bundles. Moisten edges of biscuit with water, gather edges over filling and pinch with fingers to seal. Place in ungreased muffin pan. Brush with 1 tablespoon melted butter. Bake at 375 degrees for 11 to 13 minutes or until golden. Serve warm. Makes 10 servings. |
