WHITE FROSTING 
1 c. milk
6 tbsp. (heaping) flour
1 c. Crisco shortening
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. vanilla

Put 1 cup of milk and 6 (heaping) tablespoons of flour into a saucepan. Stir and heat over medium high heat until thick (like mashed potatoes). Stir constantly. Once thickened, remove from heat. Let sit. In a 2 quart bowl mix shortening and sugar and vanilla about 2 minutes. Add thickened milk and beat for about 5 minutes until fluffy.
