EGGNOG 
12 eggs, separated
1 1/2 pt. cream or half and half
4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. whisky; optional
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
6 qt. milk

Beat egg yolks until lemon colored. Beat in sugar and salt. Slowly add whisky, cream, nutmeg, and milk. Fold in well beaten egg whites. Makes 2 gallons.
