MIXED FRUIT COMPOTE 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. dried figs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. pitted prunes
1 (4 oz.) pkg. dried apple rings
3 c. orange juice

In a heat-proof medium bowl, combine all the fruit. In a 2 quart saucepan, heat orange juice to boiling. Pour over fruit in bowl. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Stir before serving. Will store in refrigerator for 2 weeks. Serves 14.
