SAUERKRAUT STEW | |
1 1/2 lbs. pork 1 onion, sliced 2 tbsp. shortening 1 can sauerkraut 1 tbsp. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. paprika 1/4 c. milk Melt shortening in pan; add onion and fry until light brown. Add paprika and meat and enough water to cover all. Cook for one hour. Add sauerkraut and cook 20 minutes longer. Add salt and flour to milk. Blend well; then add to the meat and sauerkraut. Cook another 10 minutes. Serve. |
