TEXAS HOT DOG SAUCE | |
2 reg. cans tomato soup 1 tsp. paprika 1 tsp. DRY mustard 1/2 tsp. ground cloves 2 tbsp. Worcestershire 2 med. onions, chopped fine 2 tbsp. chili powder 1 tsp. sugar 1 lb. ground beef 4 bay leaves Red pepper, salt and black pepper to taste In a saucepan, combine the first 8 ingredients. Crumble the uncooked ground beef and add to saucepan, with bay leaves. Simmer on low heat until mixture thickens. Stir occasionally, so it doesn't scorch. Remove bay leaves. Serve with Buffalo's best grilled hot dogs, with mustard and chopped onion. This freezes well. Recipe can be doubled. |
