MVO'S 7-4-17 TRIFLE 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. whipping cream
2 tsp. vanilla
2 pt. sliced strawberries
1 pt. blueberries
1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. strawberry jam
3 tbsp. rum
sliced pound cake
strawberries and blueberries for garnish

Beat cream cheese with 1/2 cup sugar. Gradually beat in whipping cream. Add vanilla and beat until stiff peaks form. Set-aside.

Combine strawberries, blueberries and 1/2 cup sugar. Set-aside.

Combine jam and rum. Set-aside.

Place a layer of pound cake in the bottom of a trifle bowl. Spread with one half of the jam mixture then one half of the fruit, then one half of the cream mixture. Repeat these layers. Garnish with strawberries and blueberries.
