PEANUT COOKIES 
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tbsp. warm water
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. oatmeal
2 1/2 c. flour
2 c. cornflakes
2 1/2 c. Spanish peanuts

Cream sugar and shortening together. Add eggs, water, soda and baking powder. Add flour, oatmeal, cornflakes and peanuts. Drop from spoon to baking sheet. Bake 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
