HEARTY CHICKEN AND RICE SOUP 
1 lb. skinned, boneless chicken breast, cut into 1" pieces
5 c. water
8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced (2 c.)
3/4 c. sliced celery
1/2 c. sliced carrots
1/2 c. raw converted rice
1/4 c. chopped green onions
5 tsp. chicken flavor instant bouillon or 5 chicken flavor bouillon cubes
1/2 tsp. ground sage
1/4 tsp. pepper

In crock pot or slow cooker combine ingredients. Cover and cook on low setting for 7 to 9 hours. If you use a high setting, cook for 4 hours. Makes about 2 quarts. Refrigerate leftovers.
