LEFTOVER BREAD PUDDING 
Left-over corn bread
2 or 3 onions
2 tbsp. bacon drippings
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper

Fill heavy skillet full of water. Add salt, pepper and bacon drippings. Place corn bread in the water. Put sliced onions over the bread. Cover skillet and steam until water soaks through bread. Serve with vegetables or meat.
