CRAZY CRUST CHERRY PIE | |
1 c. all-purpose flour 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 3/4 c. water 2/3 c. Crisco 1 egg FILLING: Use 1 (1 lb., 5 oz.) can cherry pie filling Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, water, Crisco, and egg. Blend well at lowest speed, beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Spread batter in 10 inch or 9 inch deep dish pie pan. Carefully spoon filling into center of batter. Do not stir. Bake at 425 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes until crust is golden brown. |
