CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE 
2 c. plain flour
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can cherry pie filling

Sift flour and sugar. Bring to a boil butter, cocoa and water. Pour this over flour and sugar. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 50 minutes.

ICING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 lb. box 10x sugar
1 c. nuts

Bring butter, cocoa, milk to a boil. Add sugar and nuts. Spread over cake while cake and icing is still hot.
