FRIED MORREL MUSHROOMS 
Mushroom halved lengthwise & cleaned
Salt
Flour
1 egg, beaten with 1-2 tbsp. milk
Fine soda cracker crumbs

Soak mushrooms in salted water; drain and rinse again. Then drain on paper towels. Roll in seasoned flour. Dip in milk mixture. Roll in cracker crumbs. Fry in hot grease until golden.
