SCALLOPED POTATOES | |
1 can condensed cheddar cheese soup 1/2 c. sour cream 1/4 c. water 4 c. thinly sliced potatoes, less for more sauce 1 med. diced onion 3/4 c. diced green pepper (opt.) Salt & pepper to taste Combine undiluted soup, sour cream, water in a 2 quart shallow casserole dish. Alternating with layers of sliced potatoes, onions and peppers. Sprinkle each layer of potatoes with salt and pepper. Pour over each layer of potatoes the cheese mixture. Place uncovered in preheated 375 degree oven. Bake 30 minutes. Remove from oven, stir. Cover casserole and return to oven for 1 hour. |
