SUNDAY MORNING BREAKFAST
CASSEROLE
 
1 lb. Jimmy Dean or Jones Country sausage
1 lg. onion, chopped
6 to 8 slices white bread
8 oz. grated sharp cheese
6 eggs
2 c. milk

Place bread in buttered 9 x 13 inch casserole. Saute sausage and onions. Spread over bread. Sprinkle cheese on top of sausage and onion. Mix eggs and milk; pour over bread, sausage, and cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

It is best to prepare casserole the night before and bake the next morning. This allows the bread to absorb the liquid and the flavors to blend.
