CREME DE MENTHE SQUARES 
CAKE LAYERS:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
4 eggs
16 oz. can chocolate syrup
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

MINT LAYER:

2 c. 10x sugar
1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. creme de menthe

GLAZE:

6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
6 tbsp. butter

Mix all cake layer ingredients together. Pour into 13 x 9 inch greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool in pan. Mix mint layer and spread over cooled cake. Mix and melt glaze ingredients, cool slightly and spread over mint layer. May be frozen.
