PEAR CAKE 
1 1/2 c. oil
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. flour, plain
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. raw fresh chopped pears
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix oil, sugar and eggs. Sift flour, salt and soda together. Stir into oil mixture. Add pears and nuts. Bake in tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
