STEAMED CLAMS 
8 c. water
4 dozen clams
2 tbsp. salt
1 c. butter, melted
Lemon wedges

Boil water in large kettle or Dutch oven. Add clams and salt, cover and let steam for approximately 10 minutes. Pour liquid through cheesecloth into bowls. Add clams. Serve melted butter and lemon wedges alongside. Serves 4.
