CREAM OF TOMATO SOUP 
1 (#2 1/2) can tomatoes
1/4 c. parsley
1 sm. bay leaf
1/2 sm. onion, stuck with 3 cloves

Simmer above for 10 minutes in covered saucepan. Remove bay leaf and press out through strainer or place in blender until smooth. 1 can tomato paste

Add above to strained tomatoes. Mix until smooth.

In another saucepan make a white sauce with: 1/4 c. flour 2 c. milk or half and half

Cook until thick. Add: 1/4 tsp. curry powder

Add tomato mixture to white sauce, a little at a time, blending well. Add 1 tbsp. sugar. Simmer and serve at once.
