FROSTED MEAT LOAF (Easy) 
3 slices American cheese
1 egg
1/3 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1/3 c. barbecue sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
Packaged instant mashed potatoes (for 4 servings)

In bowl beat egg until mixed. Add oats, barbecue sauce, salt and pepper. Mix well and add ground beef. Mix in with your hands. Shape into loaf and put into baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Drain off fat when cooked.

Fix potatoes, following directions on package, BUT use only half the milk. Use knife to spread potatoes over top and sides of meat loaf. Bake for 15 minutes. Turn off oven and put cheese on top. Serves 6.
