MERINGUE COOKIES 
4 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1 c. walnuts or pecans
1 c. chocolate chips
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Beat egg whites until stiff; add 1/3 cup sugar. Beat again; add 1/3 cup more sugar, beat again. Add vanilla, beat until stiff, and add rest of sugar. Beat well. Add nuts and chocolate chips; mix well.

Drop on ungreased cookie sheet in small amounts.

Bake at 250 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.

NOTE: These cookies do not ship well.
