HAM CASSEROLE | |
1 1/2 c. diced cooked ham 2 tbsp. chopped onions 1/8 tsp. tarragon 2 tbsp. butter 1 can (10 1/2 oz.) condensed cream of chicken soup 1 1/2 c. water 1 1/2 c. cooked narrow noodles 1/2 c. cooked French style green beans 2 tbsp. fine dry bread crumbs 1/2 clove garlic, minced 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Cook ham, onion, and tarragon in 1 tablespoon butter until ham is lightly browned and onion is tender. 3. Remove from heat and stir in soup, water, noodles, and green beans. 4. Pour into buttered 1 quart casserole. 5. In a small skillet lightly brown the bread crumbs and garlic in remaining tablespoon of butter. Sprinkle over top of casserole. 6. Bake 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. 7. Makes 4 servings. |
