ALLIGATOR BREAD
1 loaf frozen bread dough (honey wheat is a good choice because it's pliable)
Oil
1 beaten egg
Aluminum foil
Kitchen scissors
Knife

1. Semi-thaw 1 loaf of frozen bread dough.

2. Lightly oil hands and dough. Cut a 2 inch section of thawed dough for alligator's legs and eyes. With remaining dough start forming a tail by rolling and stretching loaf to 18 inches long.

3. Cut a 3 inch deep mouth at the wide end. Clip teeth with scissors. Prop mouth open with a small foil ball. Pinch nose to form nostril. Curving body, place alligator on a greased cookie sheet. Pinch eye sockets 1 1/2 inches from nostril.

4. From the 2 inch reserved dough, pinch off two pea sized balls of dough and place in eye sockets. Cut remaining dough into 4 equal pieces for the legs. Stretch each leg to 5 inches and cut in toes. Add to body. Cut triangle scales on body with scissors.

5. Brush with whole beaten eggs. Cover loosely with plastic wrap; let rise until double. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Remove foil from mouth. Serve for a Gatorific treat!
