STEWED RICE AND BEANS 
1 tbsp. chopped salt pork
2 oz. chopped smoked ham
1 chopped green pepper
1 chopped tomato
1 chopped onion
2 ground cloves garlic
2 tsp. salt
1 lb. rice
1 lb. cooked beans
2 c. water
1 pkg. Sazon with Achiote

Saute salt pork and ham in iron kettle, add green peppers, tomato, onion, Sazon and garlic and cook over low heat a few minutes. Add washed rice to mix, stir well, then add beans, salt and water. Cook on medium high until all the water has been absorbed, then cover and cook on low until the rice is tender. Serve hot - 8 servings.
