LEMON CRACKERS 
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. crisco
2 oz. baking ammonia
1 oz. oil of lemon
1 pt sweet milk

Warm milk to lukewarm. Add ammonia. Stir until dissolved. Mix all ingredients along with enough flour to roll. Roll very thin and cut. Place on cookie sheet.

Bake on center rack of oven at 350°F until golden brown on bottom. Top will not brown.
